Sadly the deck will likely be dead with the new locked in ice change. I'll test some new versions of it after the patch to see if it might still be viable but Locked in Ice really carried the deck's late game - and this was really a list built around that concept.
A new rainbow list using fragile effects (field of poppies, locked in ice), repeatable pings (fire eater, raider, locked in ice) and AOE (magmataur, magnus) to clear board. The deck loses quite a bit of tempo early on, and tends to take quite a bit of face damage. The aim is to try to play for value with the wide removal options while setting up some key enchants (speedway, higher ground, stairway) and then going face with rush minions.
Still a work in progress, but I've messed around with many variants on this idea and this is the one that has started winning consistently. RO is always going to be a losing matchup though so it might not be the best for climbing ladder depending on what you are seeing.
** Updated to add extra life gain with =2 Vampire Historian and Serapis. Quite an important change and pushed the deck into being significantly more competitive.
