Description

Burn, baby burn!

So obviously this deck likes to kill your opponent quickly, but what isn't so obvious is:

  • If you are going second and you have a Back Alley Ronin in hand, you can 100% of the time play it on turn 4 as a 6/6 beast,

  • If you are going first but you draw a Hotel Barkeep or Shinobi of Fire, you can usually play a buffed Ronin on turn 4 as well,

  • Alacrity isn't a joke or "just" a finisher, it can be used aggressively as a way of setting up lethal in your next couple turns,

  • Juke is great at finishing games and keeping large minions alive that have been chump blocked early while also providing discard fodder,

  • Pentacle of Flavors + Shinobi of Fire can be a brutal turn 3 - turn 4 combo,

  • Wailing Yokai can be top decked for lethal, sometimes dealing 4 damage with smite but is also useful as a chump blocker in close races,

  • Hysterical Strength + Guise of Phobos are an incredible turn 5 play,

  • Vulcan Brand played on a Yokai when your opponent has low HP can be a sad yet hilarious way to end a game

This deck is a whole lot of fun if you like playing with initiative and fitting together lethal puzzles. Setting up a Day/Night cycle so that you can smite to draw for lethal is often worth discarding a card early. This deck does not mind being at 0 cards in hand as it just has so many ways of finding damage off the top of the deck and delivering finishing punches!
