It's fun to draw 7 cards with one balance. Dead angler is just a fun blocker that forces the enemy to take 3 damage a pop. It does a surprising amount of damage that the enemy often underestimate, toward the end of the game. You're supposed to have 2 yellow, 2 orange, 3 purple and 3 green gems at the end.
