Introduction

I saw that there was a demand for a budget deck which still has control capabilities. This deck only uses common and uncommon cards so it is very affordable.

Strategy

You are primarily controlling with minions, not spells, in this deck. Carny Lug and Mistwalker Gate are the key cards. You use them to quickly and efficiently teleport around big minions that can make favorable trades. Alpha strike at your foes with Freki Huntress, or trade and then recover with Coruscant Axolotl. Armor also really helps make trades go well. Any foes that cannot be dealt with by conventional methods can be blighted, or silenced with Vampire Historian's Amnesia.

Replacements

In addition to extra copies of the cards in the list, common and uncommon replacements include:

1 mana: Doper, Golden Axolotl, and Ironflesh Performer.

2 mana: Hyperfit Ultragym, Yahui, and Striking Viper.

3 mana: Melpomene Muse.

4 mana: Instabeast, Magpyre Enforcer, Strigoi Reaver, Guise of Phobos.

5 mana: Macheri Blade Dancer in a pinch.

6 manaL Thoroughbled Steed in a pinch.

Once you have access to higher rarities, I would definitely try to fit in Misanthropia, Gigantomachia, Magmataur, Twins, and Sapo. Xiomara would probably also be very powerful as a beater that can scry Mistwalker Gate.
