This deck uses the new spirit synergy cards and Freki Sidecar to enable explosive turns, both in classic Necromantic style and by chaining together rushing minions. Comrade in Arms, Nameless Poet, Dreni Diehard, and Hopeless Necromantic form a core of extremely sticky and/or high tempo necromantic plays that abuse Disk of Circadia's discard effect.
Let’s talk about some of the more interesting card choices!
Cataclysm is a great follow up to Nameless Poet, which you can sacrifice to create a Warded minion ahead of the storm, then play Cataclysm to clear the enemy out and leave yourself with a large warded spirit!
Koschei is a sort-of born again; auspicious forecast immediately activates his self-reanimation ability. Mostly he’s just a fun card who deserves a little love- definitely cuttable.
Wake the bones is very powerful in this list- both for normal uses like recurring sidecar and magnus, and because you can use it to get back Fanatical Phantoms and play them, essentially making Wake the Bones into a modal 3GG 4/4 minion after playing Forecast or Diehard. With Disk’s pursuit you can also discard Diehard on turn one, play wake immediately, and then play the phantom on 2 to establish a solid board presence.
Daughters of the forest is an interesting card in this list; it benefits a lot from getting slayer 1 from your disk, it’s great reanimated with Poet (warded and alpha strike is a tough combo to take down) and its a 3 cost spirit you can discard with Disk then bring back with Comrade.
Other cards you might consider are born again, night hag, going to four copies of Poet, the Recursionist for even more wakes and forecasts, and boneyard abomination.
