This deck doesn't require a lot of gems. Only 1 green gem early and you get 2 eventually. This means you can burn early forgelings. Burned forgelings with grinning koboloks and an impel power makes for a high mana count later in the game, which allows the casting of many rush krakens. Shroud of the pit brings back the dashing ringmaster very often.
