Description

This deck is solidly tier 1. I currently have a 12 game win streak with this deck and a 29-9 win/loss ratio overall on ranked. In the early game you need to actively 1-for-1 with your opponent on board. You can't fall behind on board control because clearing a developed board is quite difficult, (this deck's biggest weakness is lack of aoe/board wipes). You have a lot of fatties and many ways to recur them. If one sticks and you equip a biting blade, it's nearly impossible to lose to aggro, and most other midrange decks struggle to keep up with a huge life swing like that. Steam bun/racer with a shroud of the pit is just disgusting value. Against control, clone your steam buns as often as you can. They'll eventually realize you will draw more cards than them and start spending resources to kill your 1/1 (which can be very tempo positive for you). This deck is a well-balanced mix of removal, card advantage, recursion, and must-answer late game threats. If you like modern Jund in MtG, you'll probably like this deck.
